I am probably one of the very few people in The Frisch School that are not an American Citizen. My name is Yael F. I am fifteen years old and currently living in Teaneck, New Jersey. I live with my parents, and I have two sisters. One of them is married and lives in New York City, and the other one lives in Jerusalem, Israel.
My parents were both born in England which is where they got married. From there, they made Aliyah to Raanana, Israel. My sisters and I were all born in Kfar Saba, Israel. In 1997 my family moved to Teaneck. We have been in the same house in Teaneck ever since. I enjoy going back to visit Israel and to tour the country. Since my sisters and I were born in Israel, we have many family friends that we love to visit. One day I hope my family and I will be able to return to Israel and settle in our home land. In my free time I like to play sports. Most of all, I like soccer, tennis and softball. I also like painting and drawing. My favorite television shows are Glee, One Tree Hill and Friends. I also like to cook and prepare various foods with my mom, especially sushi. I pretty much like all foods except fish. I find that fact ironic because my last name has fish in it.
